Recommended dose: initially 0.5mg 2 - 3 times a day with the first dose at night time, increase after 3 - 7 days to 1mg 2 - 3 times daily for a further 3 - 7 days. Increased to a maximum of 20mg daily in divided doses. Effective dose in clinical trial was 10 - 15mg daily.
